Aphrodite Shrine

Located within the Great Rite Spiral is the Aphrodite Shrine. Its altar was aligned to Venus setting (the morning star) on the solstice. It contains an icon of Aphrodite, an altar filled with offerings, and an arbor covered with climbing red roses.
